QFMR: How would you describe my sexuality?

Earlier, I posted a topic about discerning my sexuality. But for fun, I thought I’d pose a question for my readers. I am having fun with this topic, so please don’t worry about answering:

======================================================================

But, based on everything I write, how do you perceive my sexuality?

  1. Like in your last, your therapist suggested you not get tied down in defining yourself with a label. They are generalities much like the labels we get from personality tests. You, like each of us, are complex and have our nuances that don’t fit neatly in categories. You have enjoyed women and you have enjoyed men. There are people you will have mutual chemistry with in the future. The person may be a woman or man and the only thing that really matters is how you two feel about each other. πŸ™‚

  2. I’d say you’re bi. I think you seem more focused on guys at the time, but that’s likely because you’ve been exclusively with a female for a while, and it appears it’s been largely unsatisfying. But, what the fuck do I know? πŸ˜ƒ

  3. I agree with Micheal. Why do we feel the need to label ourselves? I know how you feel, except it is me who wants to know what my husband is; he doesn’t care what the label is. He enjoys sex with men but he doesn’t want a relationship with them. I don’t even know how to label that.. so he says he is bisexual. Just be yourself, don’t fight yourself over a label that is not important to who you are.

  4. I think you’re bi. I am however hung up in the comment about not being able to make relationships with women work. If you’re talking about emotionally, I don’t think that means you’re gay, just that there may be communication issues between you and those women. You specifically stated that you’ve enjoyed sex with women so that tells me you’re bi.
