Dealing with Anxiety

I saw this on another blogger’s post, but I thought it was something very relevant for all of those whom suffer from anxiety!ย  There are lots of ideas on how to deal with it, but I have found that there is a few go-to ones that work really well for me, and I believe the “treatment” is as unique as the individual. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I discovered that the best method to help reduce anxiety for me was a combination of Exercise, Meditation, Healthy Diet, lots of water, writing a journal, and going to a beach or water fall. The waves crashing on the beach and the sound of water flowing is very good for the soul ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hydration, writing, and staying in the company of good people seems to work for me. By the way, I’m sorry, but the anxiety-ridden English teacher in me is still working…I wish popular culture would stay away from the utterly incorrect phrase “eating healthy.” Healthy is an adjective, a state of being. One cannot “eat” it…or attempt to use and abuse it as an adverb. (Sorry. End of rant.)

    1. The rant is well accepted. I’ll expand and say the true intention of the phrase and say “…eating healthy food.” I’ll take the lesson, because I’m not so proud that I cannot accept constructive criticism. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
